I purchased this to replace my Microsoft LiveChat LX3000 headset when it developed a crackling noise in the microphone after about 1 year. I use this headset exclusively for online phone calls and meetings. So far I have used it with Skype, Skype for Business, Join.me and GoToMeeting with no hassles. Overall I like this headset better though it's more expensive so maybe you get what you pay for...I LIKE - Skype and Skype for Business integration work perfectly. I can hang up and mute from the controls on the cord. Putting a call on hold updates Skype/Skype for Business' hold button and vice versa; on Microsoft's own device they were separate - Comfortable - the LifeChat device seemed bulkier and pressed in on my head more - Excellent sound (LifeChat had excellent sound as well) - USB connection with volume and call control connects to the headset using a standard 3.5mm TRRS connection, so you can plug it into most cell phones as well as USBI WISH - Nothing to list here - all good!(Update after 6 months - still works flawlessly and I still love it! I forgot and left it out on my desk last night and my kittens got into it. They pulled it off my desk and fortunately it separated at the 3.5mm jack, so no damage done. The kittens were unable to complete their call but I was really glad it gave way when pulled rather than tearing out the cord!)
